Analysis of DEFECTS
In the textile industry, large losses are generated due to defects that occur during production processes. These defective products are generated by a lack of knowledge, material defects or inadequate processes.
Over the years, CERTINTEX's research area has cultivated a unique body of expertise through extensive collaboration and knowledge-sharing with its clients. This wealth of knowledge empowers us to investigate the origins of defects, leveraging both chemical and textile laboratories. By doing so, we can pinpoint the root causes of issues and provide recommendations to prevent or mitigate them. This commitment to proactive problem-solving contributes to an ongoing enhancement of processes and products within the company.
Among the most common defects are: streaks, stains, poor leveling, and contamination in the spinning process, among others. However, even the most complicated or extraordinary defects, such as the presence of oligomers or elastomeric defects, can be identified thanks to an electronic microscope that magnifies up to 10 times what an optical microscope allows.
Product Development
The textile industry is constantly evolving, with both products and processes being renewed. Demands from globalization and fashion require new techniques that stimulate innovation.
The development area of CERTINTEX has a miniaturized dyeing plant, which can replicate what happens in the factory, as it has Mathis equipment such as the Labomat, Foulard, Thermofixing machine, as well as equipment that identifies the behavior of dyes (MCS - View Dye Analyzer).
CERTINTEX allows the customer to keep up with changes in demand by developing recipes for practical application in dyeing, proposing technologies/processes to reduce time and costs in dyeing and other phases of production, analyzing products and presenting the most suitable ones for the needs of the market, all with the aim of improving the final quality for the customer.
